“I was inspired by a recent trip to the Far East and the emerging trend of Asian culture in fashion. We worked with a local artist who hand-painted an Asian design that we developed with our textile mill and it became one of our prints for fall.”

“I was drawn to fashion and technical construction at an early age. Growing up in Hong Kong, a fashionable city full of custom-made clothing, combined with my mother's talent in Chinese watercolors and oil paints, really gave me the design sense I have today.”

“My grandmother used to make outfits for me when I was little. I was always very interested, so she started teaching me to sew when I was six years old.

I remember sitting on the bedroom floor with my fabric all laid out, trying to cut out a shirt pattern (without a paper pattern) and then sewing it together. It wasn't wearable, but it was a start!”
